STAFFEX SGS 2026 Enters Operations Order Development Phase

BANDUNG, INDONESIA —JACKTVNews.co.id  The Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), together with military personnel from partner countries, have entered the Operations Order (OPORD) Development phase of the 2026 Super Garuda Shield (SGS) Multinational Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) in Bandung, West Java, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The phase follows the selection and approval of the Course of Action (COA) during the joint operations simulation led by Indonesia.

During the exercise, multinational staff elements worked to develop the approved COA into a more detailed and coordinated operational plan. The process involved close coordination and synchronization among staff elements to ensure that all components of the plan share a common understanding, objectives, and operational direction.

The OPORD Development phase is designed to assess the ability of staff officers to translate command decisions into an integrated and coordinated operational plan. It also provides an important platform for participating military forces to strengthen interoperability, coordination, and multinational cooperation within the framework of joint operations.

Through STAFFEX SGS 2026, Indonesia and its partner countries continue to enhance their readiness and capacity to operate effectively together in complex multinational operational environments.
