Indonesian Trade Attaché in Riyadh Promotes Business Matching Opportunities at TEI and Halal Indo 2026.

JACKTV NEWS – RIYADH, June 5, 2026

The Trade Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia in Riyadh, Zulvri Yenni, has encouraged Saudi Arabian businesses to take advantage of Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026 and the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo (Halal Indo) 2026 as strategic platforms for business matching and expanding commercial partnerships with Indonesian companies.

The invitation was delivered during a meeting between the Indonesian Trade Attaché and representatives of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 21, 2026.

“Halal Indo 2026 and TEI 2026 are strategic events to strengthen Indonesia–Saudi Arabia economic relations and broaden business networks. We invite all members of the Riyadh Chamber to participate and establish direct connections with Indonesian business players,” said Zulvri Yenni.

The Riyadh Chamber expressed its readiness to facilitate cooperation initiatives. Mansour Alajmi, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Riyadh Chamber, stated that the organization would support business matching programs, trade missions, and the preparation of a database of Saudi entrepreneurs categorized by industry sectors.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and diversify international trade partnerships. Mansour noted that Indonesia has been included among the priority destinations for Saudi business missions, alongside Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Strong Trade Potential

According to data from Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, total trade between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia reached USD 1.59 billion during the January–April 2026 period, with Indonesian exports accounting for USD 676 million.

In 2025, total bilateral trade amounted to USD 6.53 billion, while Indonesia’s exports to Saudi Arabia reached USD 2.88 billion.

Indonesia’s leading exports to Saudi Arabia include motor vehicles, fats and oils, ships, processed food products, and wood-based products. Meanwhile, Indonesia imports mainly salt, sulfur, lime, plastics, organic chemicals, and fruits from Saudi Arabia.

The upcoming Halal Indo 2026, scheduled for September 2026, and Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, scheduled for October 2026, are expected to create new opportunities for investment, trade expansion, and stronger economic collaboration between the two nations.
